Covid-19: NYC 5 Boroughs, Nassau & Westchester to 10.06.20
Staten Island, the borough/county with less than 6% of the city’s population, and a population density less than a third of the city’s density, has a messaging problem. Staten Island regularly outpaces three other boroughs in confirmed Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population. If the residents of Staten Island were following masking and social distancing guidelines, their infection rate should and would be less than any other borough. Blame it on local leadership.
New York City plus Nassau and Westchester counties continue to move in sync.
